3 Function
The VTM comprises a housing assembly which contains a spring component that
allows the Pyramid Tube to deflect and/or rotate through a limited range under an axial
and or torsional load. When the load is removed the spring returns the Pyramid Tube
to its original position. The effect of this movement is to attenuate any shock forces
that would otherwise be transmitted to the stump socket interface both in axial and
rotational directions.
