1 Description and purpose
Application:
These instructions are for use by the Clinician/Practitioner.
The VTM (Vector Thrust Male) is to be used exclusively as part of a lower
limb prosthesis.
• The device provides axial and rotational shock absorbtion and energy
return.
• The device is recommended for users that have the potential
to achieve up to K3/K4 activity use and who may benefit from a
reduction in shear loads at the residuum/socket interface.
• For new fittings the Elite blade needs to be cut to length. Instructions
on how to do this are supplied with the cutting and drilling jig Part
No. 941256.
Contra-indications
There are no known contra-indications if used in accordance with these instructions.
Intended for single user.
Ensure that the user has understood all Instructions for use, drawing particular
attention to the notes under Maintenance.
