Fitting instructions
1) Disassemble the bumper en permanently remove the metal buffer beam, remove the spare wheel.
Remove the hindmost exhaust damper out of the filling up rubbers and remove the heat shield.
2) In the bodywork plate in the rear are 2 indentations provided, drill these indentations through with
ø10,5mm and enlarge these drillings till ø25mm. Right opposite the made drilling, are 2 rubber caps on
the front of this cross-beam which have to be removed.
3) In the underside of the chassis are drillings provided to enable to insert the special cage nuts in the
chassis. Insert the cage nuts and place the mounting pieces (1) and (2) with (A) and (B) against the
underside of the chassis beam matching the cage nuts, (C) and (D) match the provided drillings in the
chassis beam of the vehicle. Insert the bolts by (A) and (B) without tightening. Insert the bolt by (A)
through the front side of the cross-beam and insert the tube (3) through the opening of ø25mm on the
back side in the cross-beam.
4) Make an incision in the underside of the bumper according to drawing 1. Re-assemble the bumper, the
heat shield and the exhaust.
5) Assemble the ball together with the security shackle and the socket holder, insert the bolts and screw
firmly on (see tension).
Disassemblage of the bumper
- 2x2 screws in the wheel cases
- 2 plastic screws in the underside of the bumper
- detach the sides and remove the bumper backwards

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
