This device may not be used or cleaned by
persons with limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they are supervised by a person who is
responsible for their safety or if they have re-
ceived instructions about the use of the device
from such a person. They should be supervised
during use of the device. Children may not use,
clean or play with the device, and the device
must be kept out of reach of children when not
being used.
Do not use the device with a damaged cable.
Do not touch any damaged cable and pull out
the mains plug if the cable is damaged during
charging.
Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket if it is not
being used or if it is being cleaned.
Do not charge batteries on an easily combus-
tible substrate (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.) or in
surroundings that would ignite easily.
Protect against moisture and dirt. The storage
location must be dry and frost-free.
Do not cover ventilation slots during charging.
Do not charge batteries from external sup-
pliers. Only charge batteries with the values
specified in the technical data.
Ensure that the charger-battery connection is
correctly positioned and is not obstructed by
foreign bodies.
Protect the device against temperatures greater
than 50°C as well as against strong sunlight
and fire.
The mains voltage must match the voltage
information on the product.
Safety instructions
If the battery is damaged or not used correctly,
liquids and vapours may escape. If the fluid
comes into contact with your eyes, seek
medical attention. If the liquid wets adjacent
objects, the affected parts should be checked.
If vapours escape, introduce fresh air. Seek
medical attention if you feel unwell.
Keep small metal objects such as paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws, bolts away from
batteries which are not being used since these
small metal objects may bridge the contacts.
A short circuit between the contacts of the
batteries can cause burns or fire.
Do not open batteries and protect them from
impacts.
Always monitor the charger if it is connected to
the mains.
Do not change or dismantle the product your-
self and never try to repair it yourself.
Use only tested extension cables that are in
good condition.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its agent or
similarly qualified persons to prevent danger.
To avoid the risk of a fire, injuries or product
damage that might be caused by a short-cir-
cuit, do not immerse the tool, the replaceable
battery or the charger in liquids and take
care to prevent the ingress of liquids into
devices and batteries. Corrosive or conductive
liquids, such as saltwater, certain chemicals
and bleaching agents or products containing
bleach, could cause a short-circuit.
Use only genuine Würth accessories
and spare parts.
