Troubleshooting
Cause
Air in the pump
Suction pipe blocked
Pre-filter is dirty
Power supply interrupted
Thermal protection switch in
the motor has switched off the
pump as it was overheated.
The pump overheat protection
switched off the pump due to
extended interruption in water
supply.
Suction pipe blocked
Pre-filter is dirty
Suction side is leaky
The quantity transported by
the pump depends on the
transport height and the con-
nected periphery
Remedy

Pull out the mains plug and clean the
suction pipe
Remove the prefilter and clean it under
flowing water, rinse any dirt residue in the
fill neck via the hose line connections.
Check fuses and electrical connections
Pull out the mains plug, let the pump
cool down; check whether ventilation
slots on the casing are clear prior to re-
starting operation. If the problem re-
curs, have the pump repaired.
Pull the mains plug, let the pump cool
off. This can take some time. After
that, restart the pump.
Pull out the mains plug and clean the
suction pipe
Remove the prefilter and clean it under
flowing water, rinse any dirt residue in
the fill neck via the hose line connec-
tions.
Check the entire suction side for leaks
Observe the maximum delivery height
(see technical data). If necessary, use
a larger hose diameter or a shorter
hose.
