Mounting
Before beginning installation:
•
Check that the product purchased is of a suitable size for
the chosen installation area.
•
Remove the charcoal (*) filter/s if supplied (see also
relative paragraph). This/these is/are to be mounted only
if you want lo use the hood in the filtering version.
•
Check (for transport reasons) that there is no other
supplied material inside the hood (e.g. packets with
screws (*), guarantees (*), etc.), eventually removing
them and keeping them.
Expansion wall plugs are provided to secure the hood to most
types of walls/ceilings. However, a qualified technician must
verify suitability of the materials in accordance with the type of
wall/ceiling. The wall/ceiling must be strong enough to take
the weight of the hood.
Do not tile, grout or silicone this appliance to the wall.
Surface mounting only.
In the case of the presence of panels and/or walls and/or
lateral wall units check that there is sufficient space to install
the hood and that access to the command panel is easy.
In any case, leave a free spece of AT LEAST 7 cm from the
control panel.
Operation
To select the functions of the hood just touch the commands.

Button ON/OFF motor
Press this button to turn on the hood; the suction speed
(power) 1 is selected.
With the hood on (at any speed), press this button to turn
the hood off.

Button for suction speed (power) decrease

Button for suction speed (power) increase – the
selected speed can be distinguished from the colour of
the panel:
Suction speed (power) 1: bright white
Suction speed (power) 2: light blue
Suction speed (power) 3: dark blue
Intensive suction speed (power): flashing dark blue
Note: Intensive suction speed (power) is active for a
limited time (approximately 5 minutes) after which the
hood is automatically positioned at suction speed (power)

Saturation indicator
The hood is equipped with a system that can notify via a
dedicated indicator, when it is necessary to perform
maintenance of the filters.
The grease filter saturation indicator is always active.
Check the saturation status of the charcoal filter:
Turn off the hood.
Press and hold button 2 for 2 seconds.
Important! Do not hold the button longer, this may change the
saturation indicator related settings (see next paragraph
"Activation of the saturation indicator of the charcoal
filter").
Flashing lighting of the panel: the saturation indicator of the
charcoal filter is disabled, the hood is ready to operate in
ventilation version.
To use the hood in filtering version, the saturation indicator of
the charcoal filter should be activated.
Steady lighting of the panel: the saturation indicator of the
charcoal filter is activated, the hood is ready to operate in
filtering version.
To use the hood in ventilation version, the saturation indicator
of the charcoal filter should be disabled.
Activation of the saturation indicator of the charcoal filter:
Turn off the hood.
Press and hold button 2 for longer than 5 seconds.
Panel lighting will change from "flashing" to "steady" to
indicate that activation was successful.
Disabling of the saturation indicator of the charcoal filter:
Turn off the hood.
Press and hold button 2 for longer than 5 seconds.
Panel lighting will change from "steady" to "flashing" to
indicate that activation was successful.
Filter saturation indicator
The panel lights up at regular intervals:
in steady red, to indicate that it is necessary to perform
maintenance of the grease filter
in flashing red, to indicate that it is necessary to perform
maintenance of the charcoal filter.
To reset the saturation indicator:
Turn off the hood.
Press and hold button 2 for approximately 5 seconds.
Perform filter maintenance.
Temperature Alarm
The hood is equipped with a temperature sensor that activates
the motor in the event that the temperature in the control area
is too high.
This state persists until the temperature falls below the alarm
threshold.
