How to Section:
Installing Graphic cards longer than 260mm
To be future proof, Define mini supports graphic cards longer than 260mm by removing
the upper HDD-Cage. To remove this, first remove the two thumbscrews securing it,
remove (or rotate) and reinsert and secure the thumbscrews. When the HDD-Cage is
removed the chassis supports graphic cards with lengths up to 400mm!
Rotatable HDD-Cage
There are two HDD-Cages in Define mini, where the top one is removable and rotat-
able. When removed, the chassis supports longer graphic cards, or provides better
airflow. By rotating it the HDD-Cage can work as an air guide for the front fan, directing
air to the graphic card or by placing it in the original position, it's optimized for a clean
build with excellent HDD cooling and cable management.
Bottom optional fan position
This bottom fan hole, protected by a filter underneath the chassis, is excellent for pro-
viding cool air, straight into the chassis, cooling both the GPU but also the CPU.
Mainly for overclocking, but it also lowers the overall temperature in the case.
Cleaning the filters
The filters are placed at the usual air intakes to prevent dust from the system. When
they get dirty they also obstruct the airflow and they need to be cleaned with a regular
interval for optimal cooling.
•
To clean the PSU/Bottom fan filter, just remove it from the chassis by pulling it
backwards and remove all dust gathered on it.
•
To clean the front filters, open the front doors covering the front filter by pressing
the marking on the door. If needed, remove 4 screws and remove the fan, clean
the filter and put it back again.
