G e n e r a l i n f o r m a t i o n :
FSE Control Modules are simple and economical
devices that provide analogue 0...10 V electrical
signals based on condensing pressure changes. They
have been optimized to meet the requirements of air-
cooled condensers. Additional conditioning of the
output signal is not necessary. FSE are the ideal signal
source for EC type fan motors.
S a f e t y i n s t r u c t i o n s :
• Read operating instructions thoroughly. Failure
to comply can result in device failure, system
damage or personal injury.
• According to EN 13313 it is intended for use by
persons having the appropriate knowledge and
skill.
• Before opening any system make sure pressure in
system is brought to and remains at atmospheric
pressure.
• FSE are factory set to a specific pressure at which
output voltage is 0V (point Z in Fig.1). If
adjustment is needed, refer to instructions for
proper procedure. Improper adjustment may
result in system damage or failure.
• Do not exceed the specified maximum ratings for
pressure, temperature, voltage and current.

Sealing plug
1. Remove sealing plug and insert 2 mm or 5/64" Allen
key into setting screw. Turn Allen key clockwise (+)
or counterclockwise (-) to readjust the setting.
Note: Do not turn setting screw more than 3 turns
clockwise (+3).

2. After adjustment insert sealing plug and make sure
that it is properly fitted.
Note: IP65 protection requires firmly sealed plug.
Readjustment to factory set point:
To readjust to factory setting, a pressure gauge, a
constant voltage of 10 VDC and a DC volt meter is
needed.
1. Apply constant voltage between pin 2 (+) and pin 4
(-).
2. Connect voltage meter between pin 1 (+) and pin 4 (-
).
3. Apply pressure of ~60% of maximum operating
pressure PS, then decrease pressure slowly to the
needed setpoint per table "Factory Set Point".

then decrease again slowly to setpoint. If necessary,
correct again with Setting screw (2).
