2. Mounting sensors on the chassis
Now mount the sensors on the chassis of Robotino
base of the chassis by attaching it through a slot (2) from below using 2 screws. The width of the object
to be detected determines how far apart you must install the fiber-optic cables (3) from each other.
Screw the fiber-optic cable bracket onto the designated location on the chassis. The bracket is screwed
on from below using the supplied screws (3 mm hexagon socket). Mount both brackets.
Now mount the fiber-optic unit (4) on the mounting panel of Robotino
supplied screws (5) into the two threaded holes provided.
3. Connecting sensors
Connect the diffuse sensors to the power supply and the digital inputs of the I/O interface.
Please check the circuitry of the sensors specified here on the included data sheet of the optical
sensors.
4. Adjusting sensors
Adjust the diffuse sensors by turning the adjusting screw with the included small screwdriver until the
switching status indicator (LED) lights up. Check whether each sensor switches off at the appropriate
position over a dark background.
