2 Twist the screwdriver until the sensor breaks
open. This will cause irreparable damage to the
housing.
3 Disconnect the battery wire connector from its
housing by pulling on the wires close to the
connector.
4 When you have removed the connector, gently
pull the battery from the housing (it is fixed with
double sided tape) and dispose of it properly
(see 'Recycling').
