PURPOSE | AREA OF APPLICATION
The EVOC Protection Wear with integrated back protector was developed exclusively for cycling,
mountain biking, snowboarding and skiing.
Cycling, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding as well as descents in alpine terrain come
with risks. The EVOC Protection Wear with integrated back protector is designed to reduce the
risk of serious injury in the event of a fall when engaging in these activities.
The EVOC Protection Wear with integrated back protector is made for a temperature range from
-20°C to +40°.
SAFETY INFORMATION
RESTRICTIONS ON USE / EXCLUSION
The EVOC Protection Wear with integrated protectors have been designed and certified specifi-
cally for the sports described in section "Purpose / Area of application". Excluded from this are
events in the extreme range of these sports. This Protection Wear is not suitable for sports other
than those mentioned above, in particular not for the use in motor sports or with motor vehicles
such as motorcycles, snowmobiles, quads or similar vehicles.
Protection against all injuries cannot be guaranteed. This includes twisting, overstretching or
compression, as well as spine compression fractures.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The EVOC Protection Wear with integrated back protector can reduce the severity of injury from
impact only if it is correctly positioned and worn. Please observe section "Correct fit | Adjust
Protection Wear".
No changes may be made to the Protection Wear including the back protector in order not to
impair its protective effect.
The flexibility of the protector is ensured by the surface material property; however, the protector
should not be bent.
• Make sure that the Protection Wear is not too high or too low on your back. Tighten shoulder-
straps, chest strap and hip belt.
• Before each use, make sure that all straps, belts, buckles and plug fasteners are tight.

CHECK BEFORE EACH USE
Before each use, make sure that the Protection Wear and the protector are fully functional.
Proceed as follows.
• Make sure the protector shows no mechanical damage and check that all attachment points
are undamaged.
• The protectors must fit correctly in the pouch of the protection wear. The plus pattern must
face to the body, see image below.
• Make sure that the Protection Wear is properly closed with all plug fasteners and zips and
that they are all in proper working order.
• Make sure that all main seams are undamaged.
• Check the tensile strength of the stitches of the shoulder straps and hip belts.
• Make sure none of the straps or belts have any tears or other structural damage.
CORRECT FIT | ADJUST PROTECTION WEAR
The protectors only provide protection against mechanical
impact of the areas covered by it in accordance to the
following standards:
PPP 63092C:2018 for shoulder
PPP 63101B:2018 for back
PPP 63130A:2020 for chest
This protection is only guaranteed when the EVOC Protection
Wear with integrated protectors is in the right and intended
position.Make sure to wear the Liteshield plus Protection
Wear as close as possible to the body. Place the adjustable
hip belt to fit your body on the right position. The belt
should be tight, hence without obstructing breathing, The
Protection Wear should stay in place and feel comfort-
able during activity at all times. If the garment does not
fit, individual or several protectors can slip, do not fit or
fit incorrectly, choose another suitable size or do not use
personal protective equipment (PPE). The protective effect
is then not guaranteed. Do not hesitate to ask your EVOC
dealer if in doubt.
