3.4.2 Selecting the battery charge state

After selecting the battery location, the
charge state of the battery must be specified.
Select the status "before charge" if the bat-
tery was not charged within the 2 hours pri-
or to the test, or the status "Geladen" if the
battery was charged shortly before the test.
NOTE
For batteries installed in the
vehicle, select the status "after
charge" if the engine is warm, or
the status "before charge" if the
engine is cold.

3.4.3 Selecting the battery type

After selecting the charge state, the battery
type must be specified. Determine the type
of battery installed in the vehicle and select
it as appropriate using the Up and Down but-
tons. Confirm the selection with the OK but-
ton. The following battery types are available
for selection.
