4. Start-up
Ensure that the tester's internal battery is
EN
fully charged.
5. Test sequence (trailer side)
1) S witch the tester on using the ON button
(07).
2) I nsert the plug of the trailer to be tested
into the 7- or 13-pin socket in the test case.
3) Go to the back of the trailer.
4) S witch the remote control on using the
On/Off button (06) and actuate the individ-
ual lights on the trailer using the change-
over button (07).
5) I f the selected symbols on the remote con-
trol match the light functions on the trail-
er, the wiring is in order.
6) I f faults are present, re-wiring should be
performed or the wiring must be altered
in accordance with the specified terminal
diagram as per ISO/DIN.
Please note:
Alternatively, the test can be conducted us-
ing the automatic test sequence button (05)
on the front panel of the test case. During
the course of this, the trailer lights are cycled
through in sequence.
