Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the PLW215 II sub woofer. This has been design to produce wall shaking bass using only the best
technologies available to our team of designers. The sealed cabinet features a vibration cancelling driver configuration. The 2 x
15" sub woofer drivers have an inverted surround, triple suspension and single layer edge wound, vented voice coil to enable a
massive 42mm (peak to peak) of excursion. Each driver has its own 700w RMS amplifier providing a combined 1400w RMS power
output. Controlling all of this is our bespoke, in house designed, 172MHz DSP Core. The DSP can handle 3500 instructions per
sample, with 139dB of dynamic range and 56-bit double precision processing all dynamically updated by an 80MHz MCU. The
Wolfson Microelectronics (Cirrus Logic) ADC & DAC @ 24bit/48KHz (WM8786 ADC & WM8740 DAC) handles all of the important
conversions
This Setup Guide will take you through the remote, amplifier panel and what the control panel displays and does. For more
advanced features and information on the SubConnect PC application please see the electronic manual on the USB stick provided
in the tool box. The default settings and preset EQ profiles in combination with the room equalisation will provide a great starting
point for you to start enjoying the PLW215 II.
