III. Operation
Repeatedly press the MODE button to
switch between the measurement ranges
direct voltage, signal frequency, resist-
ance and current.
Connect the red terminal to the positive
pole of the battery and the black terminal
to the negative pole of the battery.
If necessary, use an additional earth
connection for the connection to the
negative consumption pole.

1. DC voltage measurement
a. Repeatedly press the Mode button until
the display switches to the required
measurement range (direct current).
b. Connect the probe and the additional
earth terminal with the two poles of the
test object. (IMPORTANT: Do NOT press
the SWITCH FOR THE POWER SUPPLY
during measurement.)
c. Read the voltage value off the display.
2. Measurement of signal frequency
and max./min. voltage
a. P resstheMODEbuttonbrieflytoswitch
to the measurement range for signal fre-
quency measurement.
Operating Instruction
b. Connect the additional earth terminal to
the negative terminal and the probe to
the plus terminal of the part to be tested.
c. Read the value off the display.
3. Resistance measurement
a. Disconnect the power supply from the
part to be tested and check that all capaci-
tors are discharged prior to measurement.
b. P resstheMODEbuttonbrieflytoswitch
to the measurement range for resistance
measurement.
c. Connect the probe and the additional
earth terminal to the two connectors of
the resistor and read the value off the
display.
d. Measure the resistance of the test object.
If the resistance is less than 30 ohm, the
buzzer will sound and the display for neg-
ative polarity lights up (green colour).
4. DC CURRENT MEASUREMENT
There are two methods for measuring the
current intensity:

measurement.
b. Disconnect all connections from
the test load.
c. Connect the probe to the positive pole of
the test load and connect the additional
earth terminal to the negative pole of the
test load.
d. Push the SWITCH FOR THE POWER
SUPPLY forwards and read the value off
the screen.
