Please note: The Nikobus programming must be performed by someone with the necessary knowledge of the Nikobus system and the knowledge of how to pro-
gram Nikobus with a PC. This user manual is only intended as a supplement to the Nikobus technical manual.
Each Nikobus push button with built-in infrared receiver can receive 39 codes to switch channels. Within each channel, a program can be assigned to code A, B, C or
D. This programming has the same capabilities as a 4-key bus push button.
All infrared codes that are recognized by Nikobus have been included in the Logitech Harmony Database, namely:
- 39 codes to select the channel
- 4 "action" codes that correspond to positions A, B, C and D of the 4-key push button
- All possible combinations (156 codes) of a channel with an action
To program the Harmony remote control unit, the necessary connections must be made between the outputs of the Nikobus modules and the correct position on the
infrared receiver, which has been positioned in the room where you plan on using the Harmony remote control unit.
