UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION
Unsuitable or incorrect parameter values can cause unintended equipment
operation, trigger unwanted signals and damage connected equipment.
•
Do not operate the product with indeterminable or unknown settings or
parameter values.
•
Only modify parameter values if you fully understand all effects of such mod-
ifications on the process.
•
Only modify parameter values after you have disconnected the wiring
between the outputs of the product and the connected equipment or if you
can positively verify that the no hazards can result while the outputs are
wired.
•
Perform a test after you have modified parameter values (for example, by
performing a simulation with the simulation function of the product).
•
Do not wire the outputs of the product unless you have ensured that all
parameter values are correct.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or
equipment damage.
