Safety instructions

The light may only be operated in
dry rooms not subject to explo-
sion hazards!
For lights of international
protection class I the pro-
tective earth conductor must be
connected to the light casing.
The light must have a stable instal-
lation position.
For desk models and modular
models (DYT, DYA) only use fas-
tening elements which have been
approved by the manufacturer.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage caused by using the unit for purposes contrary
to the designated use or by ignoring safety instructions and warnings.
Before putting the light into opera-
tion, the user has to check whether
the mains voltage is identical to
the rated voltage and frequency
specified on the rating plate.
Do not touch the fluorescent lamp
while the light is switched on and
for some time afterwards – danger
of burns.
Disconnect the light from the
mains before carrying out any
maintenance or repair work!
This work may only be carried out
by a trained electrician!
Only parts approved by the ma-
nufacturer may be used as spare
parts.
A defective mains cable may only
be replaced by the manufacturer!
