5.5 Instructions for commissioning

3. Tighten the screws.

The minimum screw depth for initial installation is
20 mm, and 40 mm for repeated installation.
Use all the connection points of the Multilift for
the connecting constructions and options mod-
ules.
ð The Multilift II lifting column has been installed on the
substrate.
Adhere to the following instructions for commissioning:
n Make sure that the mains plug is freely accessible after
assembly of the lifting column in the connecting construction.
n Provide any crushing and shearing points, which arise after
installation of the lifting column in the connecting construction,
with additional safeguards.
n Only operate the lifting column in perfect condition. Damaged
lifting columns must not be commissioned.
n Before each commissioning procedure, make sure that there
are no persons or objects in the danger area.
n If the lifting column starts up on its own due to a fault, pull the
mains plug.
Never expose the lifting column to impulse forces and/or
n
impact stresses.
