when the device is in operation! Risk of
burns!
Allow the appliance to cool down before
adjusting the bracket
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children under the age of 3 are not
allowed to be near the unit unless they are
under constant supervision.
• Children must not play with the device.
• The socket-outlet must be accessible at all
times to enable the mains plug to be discon-
nected as quickly as possible!
• These instructions for use belong to the
appliance and must be kept in a safe place.
When changing owners, these instructions
must be surrendered to the new owner!
• The appliance must be allowed to cool
down before being carried and stored!
• Do not use it in small rooms used by
people who are un- able to leave such rooms
on their own unless they are under constant
surveillance
LOCATION:
• For ceiling mounting and wall mounting
the radiant heater must be mounted at least
2.1 meters above the ground. The minimum
installation height for bathrooms is 2.25 m
above the ground.
• A safety distance of not less than 100 cm
should always be left in front of the heater.
• Since the device emits radiant heat, make
sure that no items such as furniture are locat-
ed between the device and the persons or
objects to be warmed!
• The distance between the heater and
combustible objects as well as other structures
must be at least 100 cm. The distance to the
ceiling must be at least 30 cm and laterally to
the wall 50 cm.

POWER CORD:

• The use of an extension cord with this
appliance is not recommended.
• The power cord must not come into contact
with heated parts of the device!
• Children aged from 3 years and less than
8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean
the appliance or perform user maintenance.
• Never remove the plug from the socket by
pulling on the cord! Never move the device
by pulling on the cord or
carry the device by the cord!
• Do not wind the cord around the device!
Do not operate the device with the cord
wound up!
• Do not clamp the cord, or pull it over sharp
edges!
• Do not run cord under carpeting, throw
rugs or runners etc. Arrange cord away from
areas where it is likely to be tripped over.
•Never use the appliance if the appliance or
cord is damaged. Risk of injury!
• The energy supply to the heater must
always be properly earthed.
• The appliance must not be located neither
directly below, nor in front of a socket-outlet.
• The heater must be installed so as to
prevent that the switches can be touched from
those who are in the shower.
• If the appliance is not used for a long peri-
od, disconnect it from the power supply.
INSTALLATION:
• The installation should always be carried
out by a qualified electrician or a competent
person in accordance with the current electri-
cal standards for your country:
(ex. HD 384 CENELEC for Mainland Europe,
IEC 60446 and BS
7671 for the United Kingdom, IEC
60445(2010) & ET101:2008 for Ireland
