After the fifth diamond dry-cutting
disc (1), place six ring discs, 3 mm thick (5) on
the drive shaft (4).
Fixing diamond dry-cutting discs in the
machine with washer and hexagon nut:
NOTE
The hole in the washer is off-centre.
If using 11 diamond dry-cutting discs:

After the eleventh diamond dry-cutting
disc (1), push on the washer (2). Match the
thread of the drive shaft (4) with the hole in the
washer (2).
If using 5 diamond dry-cutting discs:

After the last ring disc, 3 mm thick (5),
push on the washer (2). Match the thread of the
drive shaft (4) with the hole in the washer (2).
NOTE
The hexagonal head screw has a left-hand thread.
Use the hexagon head screw (3)

to screw the washer (2) onto the drive shaft (4)
(left-hand thread).

Tighten using an open-ended spanner
SW13 (2) (tightening torque approx. 10 Nm); at
the same time, use the hook wrench (1) to hold
the washer (3) in place.
Check the fit of the diamond dry-cutting discs.
The diamond dry-cutting discs must be fitted
as described above and must be able to rotate
freely.
WARNING
Risk of injuries due to cracking and breaking of
the diamond dry-cutting disc (bits of disc flying
around), caused by damaged, untrue running or
vibrating diamond dry-cutting discs.
Î During the trial run of the machine, hold the di-
amond dry-cutting discs away from your body
and do not touch or grip them.
Damaged, untrue running or vibrating diamond
dry-cutting discs must be replaced immediately.
Carry out a trial run of at least 30 seconds
without load.
If the diamond cutter is used with several diamond
dry-cutting discs they should be swapped over oc-
casionally to ensure uniform wear. Unevenly worn
diamond dry-cutting discs should not be used
together.

When removing the 11 diamond dry-cutting
discs from the machine for the first time, use
a suitable permanent marker to number the
diamond dry-cutting discs from 1 to 11 in the
order they are removed.
Refer to the table in Figure
5
order of the discs according to the current due
disc change.
NOTE
It is advisable to note which disc change has just
taken place, in order to keep to the order of the
diamond dry-cutting discs as given in the table in
Figure
5
with each further change.
