4. If it is the first time that the system
is carrying out a blood pressure
measurement, or if the batteries
have just been replaced, the
measuring cuff will automatically
be pumped up to a pressure of
200 mmHg (24Kpa). If not, the
measuring system automatically
refers to the last systolic blood
pressure value measured.
5. Once the device has reached the
appropriate measuring cuff pres-
sure and determined the pulse,
the pulse symbol is shown in the
display. At the same time you will
hear a beep (Fig. 28).
6. After the measurement process, the measuring cuff is automati-
cally deflated and the blood sugar/blood pressure measuring
system beeps twice. The display shows the measured values for
systolic and diastolic blood pressure and the heart frequency,
together with the time (Fig. 29).
