Switch on more than one external unit:
• A maximum of 5 external units with display modules may be connected in an installation receiving the power supply from a DC power supply
device 10-805-01.
• If several external units with modules are used in parallel with an external unit with modules, their ExtU addresses must also already be set.
• This setting is only available using the configuration software Niko Configuration SW.
11. GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE COURSE OF THE CABLES
11.1. Audio installations
• When choosing the length of the cables, keep in mind the
maximum line resistance of 20 Ω (see table below).
• To keep within the max. permissible line resistance the conductor
cross section can be doubled. This means that two cables are
used for one conductor (image 22). The cables must be twisted.
• When using shielded cables, connect the shields to each other
and connect on one side to earth (b-conductor) on the power
supply unit.
• You can opt for either star-shaped or linear wiring.
