Safety
Only qualified contractors should carry out installation, commis-
sioning as well as maintenance and repair of the product.
5.1
General safety instructions
We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability
only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the
appliance are used.
WARNING Burns
During operation, the tap can reach temperatures in ex-
cess of 60 °C.
Material damage

Scale build-up can block the outlet and thus subject the
water heater to pressure.
f Never block the swivelling spout, and use only aera-
f
tors for non-pressurised valves, otherwise the water
heater could be damaged.

Installation
f Secure the tap with gasket, spring sleeve and mating fitting.

f MES: Use the moulded plastic fitting to secure the tap in the

kitchen sink.
f MES | MEWC: Fasten the spout to the tap body.

f Fit the drain trim. Seal the upper drain fitting from above

with suitable sealant.
