5 | Installing the battery monitor

The integrated short circuit fuse ensures that the power sup-
ply is automatically interrupted if a certain current strength
is exceeded. Also, damage to the motorcycle and product is
prevented if the polarity is reversed thanks to the integrated reverse
polarity protection.
Attach the ProCharger Battery Monitor to the vehicle battery as
follows:
1. Disconnect the connections from your vehicle battery –
disconnect the ground connection fi rst of all. (To ensure you
don't lose all your vehicle settings, it may be suffi cient under
certain circumstances to only loosen the connections slightly
and not disconnect them entirely)
2. Connect the red cable terminal to the positive terminal and the
black cable terminal to the negative terminal and tighten the
connections again.
3. Fix the housing with the supplied hook-and-loop strap. Position
the hook-and-loop strap so that the Bluetooth signal is not
disturbed. Degrease/clean the surface before attaching the
hook-and-loop strap.
