removed by turning adjusting ring

Tighten retaining ring
Final steps

Install the shock absorber (see Owner's Manual).

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand (see Owner's
Manual).

Only make adjustments within the recommen-
ded range.
Ride slowly to start with after making adjust-
ments to get the feel of the new handling cha-
racteristic.
