Assembling the fork

Preliminary work
–
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand (see Owner's Manual).
–
Remove the front wheel (see Owner's Manual).
–
Remove the fork legs (see Owner's Manual).
Disassembling the fork legs
Left fork leg
–
Clamp the fork leg in the area of the lower triple clamp.
Clamping stand (T1403S)

Release screw cover
Socket (T07030)
Info
The screw cover cannot be removed yet.
–
Unclamp the fork leg.
–
Drain the fork oil.
–
Clamp the fork leg on the fork fist.
Guideline
Use soft jaws.
–
Push the outside fork tube downwards.
–
Remove protection cap
–
Slowly release the pressure from the air cartridge.

Remove valve core

Hold screw cap and loosen nut
Socket (T07030)

Remove the screw cap.
–
Remove the nut.
–

Remove bushing .
with the special tool.
