7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Comply wth safety precautons when cleanng and mantanng the scale
• Turn off and dsconnect the scale from the power supply durng cleanng.
• DO NOT open the scale; no user reparable components nsde. Servce
should be performed by authorzed personnel only.
• DO NOT place the scale upsde down. If accessng the bottom, place the
scale on ts sde.
• DO NOT carry the scale by the pan or sub-platform. Use the handholds on
the sdes of the scale housng.
• DO NOT allow lquds to enter the scale.
• DO NOT use hgh pressure when cleanng the scale.
• Inspect the scale regularly. Ensure that the housng, pan and sub-platform
are clean and free from foregn materal.
• Wpe the exteror components of the scale usng a soft cloth dampened wth
water and a mld detergent (DO NOT use acds, alkals, strong solvents or
abrasve cleanng agents).
• Screw n all 4 levelng feet tghtly to avod entry of water nsde the scale
durng cleanng. However, when the scale s put back nto operaton,
remember to loosen the two rear feet (and adjust levelng accordngly) to
allow proper ar flow and mnmze condensaton nsde the scale.
• Plug the rubber cap to the adapter receptacle underneath the scale to avod
entry of water nsde the scale.
• The pan s dshwasher safe and may be placed wth normal loads. All other
parts must not be placed n a dshwasher.
