DANGER - RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Ensure that the base with the electrical connections NEVER comes
►
into contact with water! Allow the base to dry completely if it
accidentally becomes wet.
Use the kettle only with the supplied base.
►
Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp when
►
the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be
GB
trapped or damaged in any way.
To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables
►
to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer
Service Department.
ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket after use.
►
Switching the appliance off is not suffi cient, because the appli-
ance is under power for as long as the plug is connected to the
power socket.
Check the appliance for externally visible damage before use.
►
Do not use a damaged appliance or one that has been dropped.
Have all repairs carried out by authorised specialist companies
►
or customer service. Incompetent repairs may result in risks for
the user. Warranty claims also become void.
Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! You
could receive a fatal electric shock if residual liquids come into
