Nod Function
The nod function allows you to move your hexacopter forward and backward (see figure 14). This is also controlled
with the right control stick (also see figure 1, item 4).
If the lever is slightly pushed to the front, the electronics in the hexacopter change the propeller speeds so that the
model will turn to the front slightly and thus also fly forward.
If you move the transmitter to the rear, the speed changes of the propellers are precisely inverted and the model will
fly to the rear.

f) Changing the Transmitter Lever Assignment „MODE 2/MODE 1"
If you want to fly with the lever assignments „MODE 2" described above , then you may skip this chapter. However, if
you want to switch the control of the pitch and nod functions at the transmitter to „MODE 1", you can switch the trans-
mitter from „MODE 2" to „MODE 1" with just a few steps. In addition to the mechanical change of the non-neutralising
control stick from the left to the right or, on demand, vice versa, the lever and trimming functions as well as the required
displays are switched automatically.
The two control modes „MODE 2" and „MODE 1" differ as
follows:
MODE 2:
Right control stick forward/backward: Nod Function
Right control stick left/right: Roll function
Left control stick forward/backward: Pitch Function
Left control stick left/right: Yaw Function
MODE 1:
Right control stick forward/backward: Pitch Function
Right control stick left/right: Roll function
Left control stick forward/backward: Nod Function
Left control stick left/right: Yaw Function
