Failures
The filter does not darken regularly
and/or flickers.
The response has slowed down.
The filter is not responding
correctly.
The visibility is poor.
The welding helmet slips
Causes
The protector is contaminated or
defective.
The arc sensor is not clear.
The welding voltage is too low.
The battery is too weak.
The environmental temperature is
too low/high.
The sensitivity is too low.
Wrong working process set (Wel-
ding, cutting or grinding)
The protector / protective panel is
contaminated.
The ambient light is not sufficient.
The wrong darkening level has
been set.
The head band has been set
incorrectly.
Removal
Clean or replace the protector.
Clean the surface of the arc sensor.
Set the sensitivity to the maximum.
The battery needs to be replaced
(Li - CR 2450)
Use the welding helmet only at tem-
peratures between -5 °C and +40 °C
Set the sensitivity to a higher level.
Set correct working process (Wel-
ding, cutting or grinding)
Clean the protector and the protec-
tive panel.
Introduce more light to your working
environment.
Reset the darkening level.
Reset the head band and tighten it.
