BEFORE MACHINE START-UP

Pad installation/removal
The machine with ORBITAL deck (18) can be equipped with pads according to the type of floor to be cleaned.
1. Lift the deck by the pedal (11).
2. Install the pad (19) so that it engages the plates on the ORBITAL deck (18).
3. To remove the pad, manually release the pad from the deck plate.
Squeegee installation
1. Install the squeegee (25) and fasten it with the handwheels (26), then connect the vacuum hose (15) to the squeegee.
2. Adjust the squeegee with the handwheel (27) so that the rear blade - in all its length - touches the floor.
Solution or washing water tank filling
1. Use the rear filler neck (41) or the front filler neck (37) to fill the tank (20) with a solution suitable for the work to be performed.
Do not fill the solution tank completely, leave a few centimeters from the edge. Use the removable hose (17) as reference.
Always follow the dilution instructions on the label of the chemical product used to prepare the solution.
The solution temperature must not exceed 40 °C.
WARNING!
Use only low-foam and non-flammable detergents, intended for automatic scrubber applications.

MACHINE START AND STOP

Starting the machine
1. Prepare the machine as shown in the previous paragraph.
2. Insert the ignition key (60) and turn it to "I".
Check that the green warning light (61a) turns on (charged batteries).
If the yellow or red warning light (61b or 61c) turns on, turn the ignition key back to "0" and charge the batteries (see the
procedure in Maintenance chapter).
3. Drive the machine by pushing it with the hands on the handlebar (2) and pressing the drive system enabling switches (57) to
move forward, or pressing the switches (57) together with the reverse gear switch (58) to move rearward.
The forward speed can be adjusted with the knob speed adjuster (63).
4. Lower the squeegee (25) with the lever (10).
5. Lower the ORBITAL deck by pressing the pedal (11).
6. Press the One-Touch Scrub switch (51).
7. Press the washing water flow control switches (62) as necessary, depending on the type of cleaning to be performed.
8. Start cleaning, by moving the machine as shown in step 3.
If necessary, adjust the maximum speed with the knob speed adjuster (63).
9. If it is necessary to use the vacuum system only, lift the ORBITAL deck by pressing the pedal (11) and press the vacuum
switch (53).
NOTE
To move the machine forward, press either the left or right drive system enabling switch (57) or both.
Stopping the machine
10. Stop the machine by releasing the switches (57).
11. Turn off the pad and the vacuum system by pressing the One-Touch scrub switch (51).
12. Lift the ORBITAL deck by pressing the pedal (11).
13. Lift the squeegee (25) with the lever (10).
14. Make sure that the machine cannot move independently.

MACHINE OPERATION (SCRUBBING/DRYING)

1. Start the machine as shown in the previous paragraph.
2. If necessary, press the washing water flow control switches (62) as necessary, depending on the type of cleaning to be
performed.
3. If necessary, stop the machine and turn the squeegee adjusting handwheel (27) so that the rear blade - in all its length -
touches the floor.
