7.3 SERVICING THE HYDRAULIC PART

The head unit requires no maintenance, only a simple check to verify the
condition of the valves.
If there are anomalous pressure oscillations, inspect the valves and change
them if they are damaged.
Inspecting the hydraulic part. Reference to the exploded drawing EXP-035.
- Unscrew the 12 screws (pos.106) of the
valve caps (pos.97).
- Take off the valves (pos. from 96 to
104) being careful not to damage
them.
Check the condition of all components and change any worn ones.
Please note: With each disassembly always change the valve seals.

7.4 SCREW TORQUE

Tighten the screws using a dynamometric wrench as prescribed in the
following table.
- Unscrew the three caps (pos.6),
introduce the suitable tool in the side
intake hole and operate as shown in the
figure.

7.5 LUBRICATION

Except in particular cases, the pumps are supplied with lubricating oil
80w90. It is advisable however to check, when installing, that the level is
correct. Correct lubrication ensures correct operation and a long life of the
unit as a whole. It is also important to choose the right kind of oil with the
right additives to ensure effective lubrication. Working temperature should
not exceed the maximum temperature of 80°C. The oil should be changed
after 50 hours of working for the first time and then every 500 hours or
once a year.
