7 MAINTENANCE

Scrupulously follow all the indications given below. All disassembly and
mounting operations must be carried out by qualified personnel.
The accuracy and cleanliness in disassembly and mounting are
fundamental to guarantee perfect pump efficiency. Clean and dry all
contact parts.
ATTENTION: observe all the safety conditions.

7.1 SERVICING THE MECHANICAL PART

Periodically check the oil level by means of the plugs (ref. exploded
drawing EXP-035 (pos.04).
Change the lubricating oil at the times
described in the "Lubrication" paragraph.
The quantity of oil in the pump is 16 litres.
Each time oil is changed we advise
cleaning the magnetic draining plugs and
the internal parts thoroughly with a
specific detergent.
If you find water inside the pump body, change the seals, ref. EXP-034
(pos.61-78-81).
ATTENTION: dispose of oil and any waste material in
accordance with current laws.

7.2 SERVICING THE PUMPING PART

Maintenance of the pumping unit entails no extraordinary work,
being limited to a visual inspection of the quantity of water leaking
from the pump.
In case of leakage, change the pressure seals.

- Loosen the 6 screws (pos.87) of the
head (pos.89).
Check the condition of all components and change any worn ones.
Please note: With each disassembly change all the sealing rings and grease
To mount the parts, follow the above steps exactly but in the reverse order.

ATTENTION: To tighten the head
screws, please refer strictly to the
torque prescribed of 59 kgm (ref. page
37) and to the tightening order as per
the following diagram.

- Pull the seal supports out (pos. 74). Be careful
not to damage the sealing seats while
disassembling the supports.
