3.3 SUPPLY CONDITIONS

3.3.1 Packaging

The are normally packed in wooden crates and
wrapped with a plastic film for protection in case they are sent by ship.

Other packaging can of course be used upon specific request from the
customer, ideal for how they are going to be
transported and the relative means. The packaging
must be handled and opened as instructed on the
packaging itself. To handle crates or packaging
and parts weighing more than 20 kg, use a fork
lift truck or transpallet suitable for the gross
weight specified on the shipping document.

3.3.2 Transport

When transporting, we recommend handling the pumps as you would
handle fragile goods in order to avoid damaging them.
ATTENTION: lift very slowly to avoid sudden unbalancing of the
weight.
ATTENTION: observe all the safety conditions when handling the
material.

used to handle and position the
pumps without knocks and bumps
which could damage them.

3.3.3 Receipt

Upon receipt of the goods and, if possible, in presence of the
carrier, check integrity of the material and packaging. Report any damage
found immediately to the carrier and get him to sign the complaint.
Check that what has been delivered is exactly what is on the order
(quantity and type of material) and that the relative use and maintenance
manual is included.
ATTENTION: dispose of all waste material in accordance
with current laws.
ATTENTION: observe all the safety conditions when handling the
material.

3.3.4 Storage

It is absolutely forbidden to store the pump outdoors, in damp places or
directly on the floor. If the pump is to be stored for more than 60 days,
protect the coupling surfaces with an appropriate antioxidant product
(such as TEXIL, PRS, etc.).
In the case of storage for more than 2 months, the pump must be filled
completely with oil. Cover the external, machined but unpainted parts
with grease to prevent rusting (centring devices, couplings, etc.).
Protect the pumps from dirt and dust.
For storage times exceeding 6 months, watertightness of the seals inside
the pumps is no longer guaranteed. When installing, check the seals for
leaks and/or replace them.
It is also necessary to check that the valves are working properly.
Change the oil inside the pump and fill up to the correct level through the
plugs.
