2. Summary of all Error Messages
If a problem arises when installing the various drivers, a corresponding message
will be displayed on the screen. This summary is meant to help you solve your
problems.
Invalid Parameter
One or several addressed parameters are either not admitted or contain an
invalid argument.
SCSI Hostadapter not found
The SCSI host adapter has not been identified. A possible reason could be an
address conflict with another adapter card.
Interrupt not found
The specified interrupt has not been identified. Probably this interrupt is already
used by another adapter card.
No Devices found
The driver was not able to find any suitable SCSI devices or the selected devices
can not be addressed. Please check the correct connection of the SCSI cables
as well as the power supply of the corresponding devices.
Incorrect DOS Version
The DOS version used is too old; you need at least DOS Version 3.1 or higher.
No SCSI Hostadapter to support
The driver was not able to address the selected host adapter. Please check if the
driver has possibly been configured for a non-existing host adapter.
SCSI/CAM Driver not installed
The CAM driver DC29160.SYS has not yet been loaded.
Read Error
The installation of the hard disk in question cannot be carried out due to a read
error in the system area. Please check the correct connection of all cables as well
as the termination of the SCSI bus. It might also be necessary to low-level format
the disk.
Invalid Partition Table
The installation of the hard disk in question cannot be carried out due to an invalid
partition table. Before this drive can be addressed via a drive letter, it must be
partitioned.
Inquiry to SCSI/CAM Driver failed
The device driver is unable to address the host adapter specific CAM driver; a
possible reason might be a compatibility problem.
Not enough drive letters available
The installation of the device driver has been stopped at an early stage, as there
are no further drive letters available.
