Intial Set-Up
After powering on, follow the prompts closely on the PushTracker E2 to initially set up
with your smartphone / device. If any serious difficulties are experienced during set-up, go
to the Permobil [SmartDrive] / Max Mobility website for more information and support.
A Wi-Fi connection on the PushTracker E2 may be required to access the
Google Play Store. If you do not have access to a Wi-Fi network in your
location, set up and connect to a Personal Hotspot from your smartphone /
device. Carrier or device restrictions and data rates may apply.
[Skip if you do not have a SmartDrive] Upon successful completion of set-up, go to the
Google Play Store app on the PushTracker E2, search for [i.e. "smart drive", "smartdrive",
etc.] and get the SmartDrive MX2+ app.
SmartDrive MX2+
To start monitoring your wheelchair propulsion activity even if you do not have a
SmartDrive, go to the Google Play Store app on the PushTracker E2, search for [i.e.
"push tracker", "pushtracker", etc.] and get the PushTracker app [see the "Companion
App" section for more details].
SmartDrive Pairing
Initial pairing of the PushTracker E2 to a SmartDrive is required, and this is done in the
SmartDrive MX2+ app. If the SmartDrive MX2+ app has not been previously paired to a
SmartDrive, turning power assist ON will initiate the pairing. If the SmartDrive MX2+
app has been previously paired to a SmartDrive, pairing can be done in the Settings menu
on the app.
Power Assist Activated
After successful pairing, power assist is turned ON and the SmartDrive MX2+ app
is connected to the SmartDrive, the Indication will flash blue. When the SmartDrive
motor is driving, the Indication will be solid blue. The Indication will flash red when
