Adjustment facilities
The case of the SRVS G490T features two switches and one adjustor for setting up the gyro to
meet individual requirements:
• The reverse switch is used to reverse the direction of effect of the gyro if necessary.
• The M.P.C. ON/OFF switch is used to set the gyro to work with your servo: "Hi" (high) for
digital and super-servos, "Nor" (normal) for standard servos.
• The adjustor marked "Limit Gain" is used to adjust the servo travel to suit the tail rotor control
mechanism (servo travel at limiter trigger point).
Switching to Heading Lock mode
The gyro is switched between "normal" and "heading hock" mode by means of the same chan-
nel used for adjusting gyro gain; the area around the centre of its travel produces the switching
effect. If the appropriate transmitter control is moved in the one direction from centre, gyro gain
increases in "normal" mode; if it is moved in the other direction from centre, gyro gain increases
in "heading lock" mode.
