3a - Using ground coffee

Use ground coffee suitable for machines for "bar"- type espresso coffee.
Check that there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine if there is no water in tank (5).
Make sure dial (17) is at position "
• Remove fi lter holder (10) from its housing.
• Place desired fi lter inside fi lter holder (10), making sure to fi t the tabs on the side of the fi lter "C1" into the
slots in the fi lter holder "C2" (fi g. "C").
- "12" for one cup (fi g."F")
- "13" for two cups (fi g."G").
• If using fi lter for one cup (12), with a teaspoon, fi ll with about 8 grams* coffee or if a two cup fi lter (13) is
being used, fi ll with about 14 grams* coffee (fi g."H").
• Lightly press the coffee in the fi lter down with a teaspoon (fi g."I").
• Insert the fi lter holder (10) into its housing (fi g."E").
