The CO
gas concentration is calculated as follows:

If the calculated gas concentration of 3% is exceeded, the following measures are possible:
» Use of a smaller CO
gas cylinder
2
» Increase in the size of the room (e. g. by removing doors)
» Installation of a CO
gas warning device in accordance with DIN 6653–2
2
» Installation of technical ventilation
INSTALLING
Note!
A functional check of the gas pressure reducer should be carried out before installing the CO
cylinder.
The CO
pressure should be set at 3.5 bar. Depending on personal taste this can be set up to
2
4 bar. The higher the pressure the more sparkling the water.

Functional check and connection
1.
Check the gas pressure reducer for visible external damage (1).
2. Screw the gas pressure reducer onto the CO
3. Close the shut-off valve (2).
4. Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve and close it again (3).
5. Check for leaks.
6. Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve (3).
7.
Use the adjusting screw (4) to set the working pressure to approx. 3.5 bar (5) – green mark.
8. Use the adjusting screw (4) to increase the pressure to 7 bar – red marking (5).
9. Use the adjusting screw (4) to slowly increase the pressure step by step until a slight blow-
off begins.
10. Use the adjusting screw (4) to increase
the pressure further until the safety valve
opens fully with a loud noise. Observe
the pressure gauge (5); this should not
exceed a value of approx. 7.7 bar.
11. Close the pressurised gas cylinder valve
(3) immediately afterwards and turn the
adjusting screw (4) back to 0 bar to pre-
vent icing.
12. Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve (3)
again and set the correct working pressure
of 3.5 bar (4).
13. Connect the hose to the gas pressure
reducer (6).
14. Connect the hose to the CO
water dispenser.
15. Open the shut-off valve (2).

Caution!
Only open the CO
gas cylinder a quarter of a turn (opening the valve completely has no influ-
