7.1 Replacing the wire feed roll

NOTICE
• Make sure that the wire feed roll complies with the diameter of the inserted wire
electrode.
1 Open the housing cover (1) and unscrew the clamp clip (3) by pressing the pressure
adjustment screw (4) upward and swivel it out laterally.
2 Unscrew knurled screw (2) from the motor shaft and pull wire feed roll (6) off the
motor shaft.
3 Replace wire feed roll (6) and secure it on the motor shaft using the knurled screw (2)
4 Swing in the clamp clip (3) and close the housing cover (1).
7.2 Cleaning the wire guide

Serious injuries caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable protective equipment,
in particular safety goggles.
1 Unscrew the cable assembly on the machine side and bring it into a stretched position.

2 Unscrew the nut (6) and pull out the liner (8) or PA liner and replace it, if necessary.
3 Clean wire conduit (3) from both sides with compressed air.
4 Slide adjusted liner or PA liner into wire conduit (3) and secure it with the nut (6).
5 Connect cable assembly on the machine side to the wire feed unit.
In stretched condition of the cable assembly, a counter pressure must be noticeable.
