Cannula replacement
Your nasal cannula should be cleaned or replaced on a regular basis. Consult with
your physician and/or equipment provider and/or cannula manufacturer's instructions
for cleaning and replacement information. A single lumen cannula up to 25 feet in
length to ensure proper breath detection and oxygen delivery is recommended.
CAUTION
Use of a cannula other than a high flow cannula (e.g. Salter 1600Q)
may restrict oxygen delivery and/or attachment to nozzle fittings.
