INSTALL THE PAD (BOOST SYSTEM)
CAUTION !
Turn the key switch off (O) and remove the key, before changing the brushes, and before opening any access panels.
1 Make sure the Scrub Deck is in the RAISED position. Make sure the Key Switch (A) is off (O).
2 See Figure 3. Remove one of the side skirt assemblies. NOTE: The skirts are held in place by two large Knobs (AA). Loosen these knobs and slide the
Skirt Assembly (AB) slightly forward and then off of the Scrub Deck.
3 Press on a Pad (AC) under the fl ex plates as shown.
NOTE: Due to the design of some pads, the pad may not adhere well to the fi xed pad driver when it is pressed on by hand. If this is the case, after
positioning the pad on the head, lower the deck and operate momentarily to thoroughly affi x the pad to the pad driver. This is only required if planning to
transport the machine after installing the pad before use to prevent the pad from falling off.
