Wenn das Ex pzc-Gehäuse Oberflächen
aus Kunststoff (z.B. Sichtscheiben) enthält,

welche grösser als 100cm
sind, so ist ein
Warnhinweis gegen statische Aufladung
anzubringen.
Achtung!
Gefahr statischer Aufladung. Nur mit feuch-
tem Tuch reinigen!

Wenn die Kunststoffoberfläche aus einer
Folie (z.B. Tastatur) besteht, deren Dicke
kleiner als 0,2 mm (Gruppe IIC) bzw. 2 mm
(Gruppe IIB) ist und auf einen metallischen
Träger aufgeklebt ist, so besteht keine
Gefahr einer statischen Aufladung.

Wenn das Ex pzc-Gehäuse tote Räume
(Geschlossene Räume, Bereich die offen-
sichtlich nicht durchspült werden) aufweist
gelten die folgenden Bedingungen:
a) Tote Räume mit einem Volumen <20 cm³
werden nicht berücksichtigt, solange die
Summe aller dieser toten Räume <1%
des Gesamtvolumens beträgt.
b) Pro 1000 cm³ Volumen werden Öffnun-
gen von min. 1 cm² geschaffen (Quelle
EN 60079-2; Abs. 5.5.2)
c) Die Bohrungen werden in einer raumdia-
gonalen Anordnung angebracht, so
dass der tote Raum komplett gespült
wird. Die Einzelbohrung muss dabei
min. 6,3 mm betragen. Prinzip:
d) Alternativ dazu können auch Abdeckble-
che oder Klemmenraumdeckel von
deren Gehäuse entfernt werden, wenn
diese vergleichbare Öffnungsquerschnit-
te erbringen.

Si l'armoire Ex pzc a des surfaces réalisées
en matière synthétique (par ex. des
fenêtres) avec une surface de plus de
100cm², alors un marquage particulier doit
être aposé informant qu'un risque de
décharge électrostatique est possible.
ATTENTION!
Danger de décharge électrostatique.
Nettoyez uniquement avec un linge humide!

Le risque de décharge électrostatique est
nul si la surface synthétique à une épais-
seur de ≤ 0,2 mm (Groupe IIC) ou 2 mm
(Groupe IIB) ou moins et si elle est montée
sur un support métallique mis à la terre.

Si des compartiments ou des volumes clos
existent dans l'armoire Ex pzc l'installateur
doit respecter les règles suivantes:
a) Les composants avec un volume inter-
ne libre de <20 cm³ ne sont pas consi-
dérés comme des compartiments
internes exigeant la rinçage aussi long -
temps que le volume total de tous ces
composants n'est pas supérieur à 1%
du volume interne libre de l'appareil
pressurisé.
b) Prévoir un trou de 1 cm² par 1000 cm³,
avec un trou minimum de 6,3 mm de
diamètre pour permettre la rinçage. (EN
60079-2; para. 5.5.2)
c) Placez les trous en diagonale comme
montré sur le dessin ci-dessous avec
un diamètre minimal de 6.3mm. (vents
= trous)

If the Ex pzc-housing has surface made of
synthetics (e.g. windows) with an area
greater than 100 cm², than a warning sign
against electro static discharge is neces-
sary.
Caution ! Danger of static discharge. Clean
only with humid cloth!

There is no danger of static discharge, if
the synthetic surface has a thickness of ≤
0,2 mm (Group IIC) respectively 2 mm
(Group IIB) or less and it is mounted on a
metallic ground.

If the Ex pzc-housing posses internal com-
partments the installer has to obey the fol-
lowing rules:
a) Components with a free internal volume
less than 20 cm³ are not considered to
be internal compartments requiring
purging as long as the total volume of
all such components is not more than
1% of the free internal volume of the
pressurized apparatus. (IEC 60079-2;
Abs. 5.5.4)
b) Provide not less than 1 cm² of vent area
for each 1000 cm³, with a minimum
vent size of 6,3 mm diameter should be
allow for adequate purging. (IEC 60079-
2; Abs. 5.5.2)
c) Place the vents in a diagonal order, as
shown on the picture below, with a min-
imum vent size of 6,3 mm diameter
