Set up an air blow gun on a second
compressor air hose. Adjust the
pressure to 100 PSI or as high as the
air blow gun permits.

Blow compressed air into the powder
cup while squeezing the powder
coating gun trigger. This will allow air
to flow through the gun out into the
work area (Fig. 3).
6.
Blow air into the barrel tip (C) with the
air blow gun while squeezing the
powder coating gun's trigger (Fig. 4).
7.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all powder is
removed from the powder coating gun.
8.
Use compressed air or a brush to
clean powder off the other tools (rack,
hooks) and work area. Be careful not
to blow the powder around the work
area with the compressed air.
9.
Store unused powder in a separate airtight container. Keep a container for
each colour as the powder can be reused once it is passed through a 400
micron filter to remove debris and contaminants.

LUBRICATION

The powder coating gun does not require lubrication.
