OUTPUTS AND LED INDICATIONS
6.1 RELAY OPERATION MODE
The detector has a relay contact on each output. By means of a slide switch,
it is possible to select the dark current mode or the input continuous current
mode for each channel.

6.2 RELAY CONTACT STATE
The following table shows the relay state depending on the operation mode
selected and the detector state.

6.3 BEHAVIOUR IN CASE OF LOOP MALFUNCTION
In case of loop malfunction, the relay of the unusable channel moves to the
"loop engaged" state. The green Led goes off and the red Led comes on.
The detector channel starts operating autonomously after malfunction
elimination. At this point, the green Led is operated by impulse to signal
the malfunction occurred and corrected. By activating the reset key, the
malfunction indication disappears.

6.4 LED INDICATIONS

The green Led indicates that the detector channel is enabled for operation
and, through blinking light signals, provides important information on detector
activation (malfunction, setting, frequency emission). The red Led shows the
relay output activation according to the loop engagement state.

NOTES:
Always carry out installation and connections with the power supply off.
Follow the general instructions for installing and laying out the loop.
For full compliance with the current EMC regulations, the cable between
the detector and the loop must be screened: obviously, the loop laid out
underground does not require a screened cable.

9)ASSEMBLY AND SETTING-UP INSTRUCTIONS
- The relays must not be operated on low voltage mixed with voltage lower
than 42V (ex. 24 Vdc on relay 1 and 230 Vac on relay 2).
- Connection cable insulation must be suitable for voltage of 230V.
- In order to set up the loop/detector system, select on the detector the set-
tings for presence recognition (dip switch 7 OFF) and continuous signal (dip
switch 8 OFF). By engaging the loop, the exact operation of the detector
and the relay outputs can be easily controlled. After carrying out this test
successfully, proceed to set the direction recognition and/or the impulse
signal emission.
- When selecting the frequency level for the loop of any adjacent detector,
a distance of about 15 kHz must be left between the frequencies.
