The fi ne fi lter should be changed at least once per
year. If the machine is used with a microfi lter/HEPA
fi lter, this should be changed every 300 running
hours. Use breathing protection when changing the
fi lter. Care must be taken during the fi lter change
not to expose unprotected persons to harmful dust.
Used fi lters should be sealed in a plastic sack and
disposed properly.
When changing the fi lters, check the gasket. An un-
sealed gasket can cause discharge of whealty dust.
Check regularly that the electrical cable is not da-
maged.
The DC 3800H Asbest should be performance tested
at least once per year because it may be used with
hazardus materials. Worn parts must be replaced.
Dustcontrol is not responsible for machines that
are equipped with other than original spare parts.
For vacuum motor the typical average life of the
original collectors is 600 - 700 hours. They can
then be exchanged or complete motor/fan repla-
ced. For 2nd brush set life is ca. 400 hours and for
3rd brush set ca. 300 hours. After that the com-
mutator is worn out and the motor needs to be

Rubber Bands
Lift up and spin the tires when the fi lter is over
the edge of the cyclone. Insert a cable tie
over the twisted bag, fold and insert another
rubber band.
