PROBLEM
Chopping/mixing blade
stopped working.
Vegetables are not
shredding or slicing.

PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
• Cheese pieces are too large. Cut cheese into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces or smaller. Soft cheeses need to be
placed in freezer 30 minutes prior to processing and firm cheeses need to be cold from refrigerator.
• Store vegetables with high water content in the refrigerator prior to processing. Room-temperature
vegetables are less firm and do not perform as well.
• Seal has come off or been removed. Place seal below groove on lid.
• Food is trapped under seal. Remove seal and wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry. Place seal below
groove on lid.
• There may be ingredients stuck to the side of the bowl or not enough liquid. Press OFF ( ). Remove lid
and use a rubber spatula to push mixture towards the chopping/mixing blade.
