longer and larger in diameter, the user is responsible for the appropriate choice of
operating conditions which will prevent any risk to the patient or to another person.
The guidelines of use should be followed, in accordance with the instructions of the tool
manufacturer. (Type 1 and Type3).
If maximum permitted rotation speed is exceeded, long thin instruments are subjected
to tip vibrations which may result in fracture of the rotary instrument.
Excessively high rotation speeds may cause high centrifugal forces and a risk of the
instruments kinking or breaking. (The larger the diameter of the working part, the
weaker the rotation speed).
