OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. LIGHTING UNIT
• If the followspot has to be lifted up, use the lifting points located at the back
A
• The yoke can be adjusted from 0° (vertical) to 45° for a maximum tilt.
Adjustment to be carried out on the ground. Check that the settings are the
same on both sides B
• Mount the lighting unit onto the stand (refer to the technical file : GT 4000
RJ stand) – Tighten firmly the 2 knobs E
• Balance adjustment, for better use :
- Turn the button C situated at the back of the lamphouse.
- The centre of gravity of the lighting unit can also be modified by
changing the position of the yoke assembly D
Check that the position are the same on both sides
- Adjustment to be carried out on the ground.
2. POWER SUPPLY UNIT (P.S.U.)
• Place the P.S.U. horzontally on the floor near the followspot
– Do not cover.
• Power needed : 25A.
• Admissible voltage : 190 à 260 Volts - 50/60 Hz.

• Mains cable : 3G4 mm .
3. RUNNING PROCEDURE
• Check the mechanical and electrical elements – main circuit breaker off.
• Place the lamp into position – refer to section A - 6.
• Connect the P.S.U.'s lamp cable G to the lighting unit's connector H -
Attach the cable to the cable clamp J , leave enough slack towards the
back of the cable so that the followspot moves smoothly - Lock the connector
onto the socket.
• This P.S.U. has a dimmer control K allowing you to dim from 100% to
50% - For maximum light output, position the dimmer switch to maximum.
The position does not affect the igition.
• Engage the main circuit breaker L .
• Press the green "START" button M – the checklight N lights up. The lamp
reaches its full efficiency after approximately 3 minutes.
• If the lamps doesn't light-up, check all the technical elements. Wait a few
minutes and then restart the running procedure.
4. STOPPING PROCEDURE
• Press the red "STOP" button P to turn off the followspot.
! Before disconnecting from the mains, leave the fans running for at least 10
minuets, to cool down the followspot after extinguishing the lamp.
WARNING :
SERVICE ONLY BY QULIFIED PERSONNEL
• Switch off the circuit breaker and disconnect from the mains,
before any servicing.
• Wait until the lighting unit is cold.
• Never open the lamphouse bonnet when lighting unit is on.
• Do not modify the safety switches.
• Never connect to a dimmable channel.
• Use only when lamp is in place.

MISE EN SERVICE

1. INSTALLATION DU PROJECTEUR
• Elinguage. Si le projecteur doit être élingué, utiliser les points repérés à
l'arrière du projecteur A .
• La fourche est réglable en plongée de zéro (verticale) à 45° pour une
plongée maximum. Opération à effectuer au sol. Contrôler que la
position est la même des 2 côtés B .
• Installer le projecteur sur son pied : se reporter à la notice du pied GT
4000 RJ – Bien serrer les 2 boutons de la tête E .
• Equilibrage, pour un meilleur confort d'utilisation :
- Agissez en tournant le bouton C situé à l'arrière du projecteur.
- Le centre de gravité du projecteur peut aussi être modifié en
changeant la position des supports de fourche latéraux D .
Contrôler que la position est la même de chaque côté du
projecteur - Opération à effectuer au sol.
2. ALIMENTATION
• Poser l'alimentation F à proximité du projecteur – Ne pas couvrir.
• Puissance nécessaire 25 Ampères.
• Tension admissible : 190 à 260 Volts - 50/60 Hz.
• Alimentation secteur : 3G4 mm
3. MISE EN MARCHE
• Contrôler les paramètres mécaniques et électriques – disjoncteur
général coupé.
• Montage de la lampe – voir croquis section A - 6.
• Raccorder le cordon montée de lampe G de l'alimentation au
connecteur H du projecteur - Passer le câble sous le serre câble J
en laissant suffisamment de liberté au câble à l'arrière du projecteur
pour ne pas gêner les mouvements - Verrouiller le connecteur sur son
embase.
• Cette alimentation comporte un potentiomètre K permettant
la gradation de 100% à 50% - Si vous souhaitez l'éclairement
maximum, positionner ce potentiomètre au maximum. La position du
potentiomètre n'a pas d'incidence sur l'amorçage.
• Enclencher le disjoncteur général L .
• Appuyer sur le bouton vert START M – le témoin N s'allume. La
lampe atteint son régime utile après environ 3 minutes.
• Si la lampe ne s'allume pas, contrôler tous les paramètres. Attendre
quelques minutes et recommencer l'opération.
4. ARRET DU PROJECTEUR
• Pour éteindre le projecteur, appuyer sur le bouton rouge STOP P .
! Ne pas mettre hors tension juste après l'extinction de la lampe afin de
laisser tourner les ventilateurs pour refroidir l'ensemble (10 minutes
environ).
ATTENTION :
INTERVENTION PAR TECHNICIEN QUALIFIÉ
• Pour toute intervention, couper le disjoncteur et débrancher.
• Attendre que le projecteur soit froid.
• Ne jamais ouvrir le capot de la lanterne, projecteur sous tension.
• Ne pas modifier les sécurités.
• Ne pas raccorder sur un circuit gradué.
• Ne pas amorcer sans lampe.
